Mezzo Chair with Upholstered Seat

The Mezzo Chair with Upholstered Seat pairs a warm solid wood seat shell and spindle back with a slim metal sled base. Slender vertical spindles rise from the seat to a curved top rail that wraps around the sitter, a modern take on a classic Windsor back. Underneath, a continuous metal sled base gives the chair a light, floating look and glides easily across hard floors.

A plush upholstered seat pad adds comfort and color, from leathers and faux leathers to commercial fabrics or COM. The base comes in black, white or brushed brass, so the Mezzo can feel Scandinavian and soft, crisp and graphic, or polished and upscale. Built for commercial use

The Mezzo combines a wood seat and back with a welded metal base. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): American walnut, American white oak, North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, and ashwood with light or dark walnut stain.

Metal base: black, white or brushed brass.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed finishes.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, blues, greens and warm tones.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a large selection of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
