Mezzo Stool with Upholstered Seat

The Mezzo Stool with Upholstered Seat pairs our spindle-back wood design with a cushioned seat pad for extra comfort at the bar or counter. A short back of slender vertical spindles rises to a curved top rail that wraps around the sitter, set over a solid wood seat with an upholstered pad. The slim metal sled base, with its integrated footrest bar, keeps the stool light and modern.

Shown with a white base and a green seat pad, it feels fresh and playful; a brushed brass base with leather takes it somewhere more refined. The base is available in black, white or brushed brass, and the wood in a range of species and stains. It coordinates with the Mezzo Chair with Upholstered Seat and the wood-seat Mezzo Stool.

Built for commercial use

The Mezzo Stool combines a wood seat and back with a welded metal base. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): American walnut, American white oak, North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, and ashwood with light or dark walnut stain.

Metal base: black, white or brushed brass.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a large selection of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
