Shannon Stool with Upholstered Seat

The Shannon Stool with Upholstered Seat is a traditional ladder-style bar stool built in European beech. Its tall back is framed by two straight posts and a curved top rail, with vertical slats running down to the seat, and the legs are tied together by a full ring of stretchers. The upholstered seat adds comfort for long stays at the bar, and the classic profile fits pubs, grills and hotel bars that want a familiar, timeless look.

Beech takes stain evenly, so the frame can be finished in anything from natural to a deep walnut or ebony, and the seat can be covered in faux leather or your own material. The photo shows a dark stained frame with a red seat. For a wood seat instead of upholstery, ask about the Shannon wood seat version (SHAW-BS).

Built for commercial use

The Shannon Stool is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, so the frame stays tight under daily commercial use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Wood (Wood Option E stains): walnut, tobacco, select cherry, rustic oak, natural, maple, mahogany, light cherry and ebony.

Faux leather (Faux Leather C): a wide range of colors across the Classic, Jackson and Glaze lines, from neutrals and browns to deep reds, greens and blues.

COM: customer's own material is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
