The Sprint Arm Chair With Upholstered Seat is a schoolhouse-inspired arm chair with a modern, minimal edge. A slim tubular steel frame forms the legs, back posts and arms, with wood caps on the arm rests and a curved wood veneer back panel that cradles the shoulders. An upholstered seat adds comfort and a place to bring in color or texture.

The pared-back steel frame keeps the chair visually light, while the arms make it a comfortable choice for longer meals, meetings and banquets. It stacks, which makes it a practical pick for multi-use rooms. It belongs to the Sprint family, so you can coordinate it with Sprint side chairs and stools across a dining room, bar and event space, and it is part of our Coastal & Rooftop Collection.

Built for commercial use

The Sprint Arm Chair With Upholstered Seat has a steel frame that is welded, not bolted, so it stays rigid through constant daily use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It stacks for storage and clearing floor space. Ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Dimensions

Full dimensions for this chair are available from your sales rep or our office. For the larger arm chair in this family, see the Sprint Grand Arm Chair with Upholstered Seat. For spacing, plan on about 24–26" per seat at tables with arm chairs; our restaurant seating layout guide covers clearances.

Finishes and upholstery

The frame is powder coated steel with a wood veneer back and an upholstered seat. Contact your sales rep for the current frame, veneer and upholstery options.

For commercial use, specify fabrics rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted (minimums may apply), and we will give you the yardage. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.
