Dawson Stool

The Dawson Stool brings the clean, architectural lines of the Dawson Side Chair up to bar and counter height. A flat horizontal back rail sits between straight rear posts, the solid seat is formed in the same aluminum as the frame, and a perimeter footrest ties the four legs together. The result is a light, minimal stool with a crisp, one-material look.

Made from aluminum and meant for outdoor use, the Dawson is a strong choice for rooftop bars, pool bars and patio counters as well as indoor bars. It is offered as both a bar stool and a counter stool, so you can match your counter and bar heights within one design, and it coordinates with the Dawson Side Chair for adjacent dining areas. Finish it in brushed anodized aluminum or a color from our Color Finish Series.

Built for commercial use

The Dawson Stool frame is welded aluminum rather than bolted, tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It is meant for outdoor use on patios, rooftops and pool decks. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
