The Hairpin Bar Stool is a lean, backless stool built from bent steel rod legs that taper down to a narrow point, the classic hairpin silhouette borrowed from mid-century furniture. A round solid wood seat sits on top, and a slim steel ring ties the legs together and doubles as a footrest. The result is airy and graphic, with almost no visual weight along a bar.
Because it tucks fully under the bar top and stays out of sight lines, the Hairpin is a smart pick for tight bar runs, window counters and high-top tables. Pair a natural or walnut seat with black steel for an industrial look, or choose a bold powder coat color to make the legs a design feature.
The steel frame is welded, not bolted, so it stays rigid through daily use. The Hairpin is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.
A 30" seat height suits bars around 40–42" tall. With a compact footprint, about 24" per stool works well; see our bar stool spacing guide and bar vs. counter height guide.
