JX Stool

The JX Stool brings the JX family's yoke-back design to bar height. A curved top rail sweeps around a short back splat, giving light support and a distinctive silhouette when a row of stools is seen from the room, while the solid wood frame is tied together with stretchers that double as a foot rest. The upholstered seat adds comfort and color.

Its clean, Asian-inspired lines suit hotel bars, cocktail lounges and restaurant bars that want something more considered than a standard stool. Choose from walnut, white oak, ash and beech finishes and upholster the seat in leather, faux leather, fabric or COM. It is part of our Coastal & Rooftop Collection and pairs with the JX Chair and the JX Chair with Upholstered Back in the dining room.

Built for commercial use

Wood should not be used outdoors, so on rooftops and terraces plan the JX Stool for covered or indoor bars. The solid wood frame is joined with mortise-and-tenon construction and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet. It also comes standard with a stainless steel foot rest cover, available as an option in brushed brass or black brass.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, ashwood with light walnut stain, ashwood with dark walnut stain, American white oak and American walnut.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from classic neutrals and rich browns to distressed finishes and saturated colors.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): an extensive range of standard and deluxe faux leathers, from black, white and grays to warm browns, greens, blues and glazed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a wide selection of woven fabrics and tweeds, with many performance options rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

COM/COL: customer's own material or leather is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
