Miller Upholstered Stool

The Miller Upholstered Stool is the softest version of our Miller bar and counter stool. The tall steel frame keeps the slim, tapered legs and low foot ring of the classic design, while both the seat and the back are fully upholstered for a quieter, more comfortable sit.

A fully upholstered stool reads a bit more refined than its wood-backed siblings, which makes it a good choice for hotel bars, casino lounges and restaurants where the bar is an extension of the dining room. A charcoal fabric on a silver-gray frame is crisp and modern, and leather or velvet adds a richer feel. It is offered in both bar and counter heights and matches the upholstered Miller chairs.

Built for commercial use

The frame is welded steel, not bolted, so it stays tight at a busy bar. The stool is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory. The frame carries a 3-year structural warranty, and finish and upholstery are covered for 1 year from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): our Color Finish Series in matte or gloss colors, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper, antique brass and matte red rust. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): standard and deluxe faux leathers in neutrals, browns, blues and greens, including vintage and pebbled textures.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

Fabric (Fabric Option B): velvets in sand, rust, starlight blue, teal, fern green, royalty blue, black and goldenrod, plus Fighter (130,000 double rubs) and Medley (100,000 double rubs) performance fabrics.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
