Ronin Backless Stool

The Ronin Backless Stool is a clean, compact pedestal stool with an upholstered seat. A softly rounded, padded seat sits on a single slim column, and a four-star base anchors it to the floor. Partway up the column, an angled foot rest projects forward, giving guests a natural place to rest their feet without adding visual clutter.

With no back, the Ronin tucks fully under a bar or counter and keeps sight lines open across the room. The base is offered in polished stainless steel, brushed brass or black powder coat, an optional swivel seat turns a full 360°, and the seat can be upholstered in leather, faux leather, fabric or your own material. It pairs with the Ronin Stool when you want a mix of backed and backless seating.

Built for commercial use

The Ronin Backless Stool has a welded steel base rather than a bolted one, so it stays steady and solid in daily use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Base: polished stainless steel, brushed brass or black powder coat.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed and richly colored hides.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): a wide range of standard and deluxe faux leathers in neutrals, browns, blues, greens and glazed finishes.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad selection of commercial fabrics, tweeds and performance weaves, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

COM: customer's own material is accepted (minimums may apply).

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
