Morrison Chair

The Morrison Chair is a sleek, modern dining chair built around a softly sculpted upholstered shell. The seat and back flow together in one continuous form that curves around the sitter, and the shell rests on four slim, splayed solid wood legs. It is a minimal design with a lot of comfort built in, and it looks equally good from every angle, which matters in open dining rooms.

A black faux leather shell on dark walnut legs is crisp and contemporary, while a velvet or bright performance fabric on lighter wood adds personality. The Morrison suits restaurants, hotel dining and club rooms that want a clean mid-century-modern feel, and a matching Morrison Stool is available for the bar.

Built for commercial use

The Morrison pairs solid wood legs with an upholstered seat and back. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory. The frame carries a 3-year structural warranty, and finish and upholstery are covered for 1 year from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood legs (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, European beech, American walnut, and ash in natural, antiqued, medium brown, chestnut brown and brushed antique cherry finishes.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): standard and deluxe faux leathers in neutrals, browns, blues and greens, including vintage and pebbled textures.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

Fabric (Fabric Option B): velvets in sand, rust, starlight blue, teal, fern green, royalty blue, black and goldenrod, plus Fighter (130,000 double rubs) and Medley (100,000 double rubs) performance fabrics.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
