Nells Stool

The Nells Stool brings the same school-house simplicity as the Nells Chair to bar height. A wood veneer seat and a curved wood veneer back sit on a slender steel frame with straight legs, a low footrest stretcher and side rails, creating a crisp outline that reads light even in long runs at the bar.

The all-wood seat and back keep the look natural and easy to maintain, while the steel frame can be finished in a broad range of powder coat colors, from matte black to brighter tones or metallic premium finishes. Its gently shaped back offers real support without bulk. The Nells Stool is a smart choice for cafes, brewpubs and hotel bars that want a clean, modern line, and it coordinates with the Nells Chair with Upholstered Seat for dining areas nearby.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted, for long-term rigidity in busy bars. The Nells Stool is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a wide range of Color Finish Series powder coats, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass.

Seat and back veneer (Wood Option C): white oak, walnut, red oak, oak, black oak, antiqued willow, antiqued rubber and antiqued maple.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
