Spindle Stool

The Spindle Stool brings the Spindle Chair's spindle-back design up to bar and counter height. A curved wood top rail sits on slim vertical spindles above a shaped wood veneer seat, and tall, slightly splayed legs are tied together with stretchers that double as a footrest. The look is light and crafted, with a clean Scandinavian feel that sits easily at a bar top or kitchen-style counter.

It comes in bar and counter heights and can be finished in walnut, white oak, ash, beech or black painted ash. Pair it with the Spindle Chair or the upholstered-seat version to carry the same design from the dining room to the bar. It is part of our Alpine Lodge Collection.

Built for commercial use

The Spindle Stool has a solid wood frame built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Wood (Wood Option B): American walnut, American white oak, North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, and ashwood with light or dark walnut stain.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
