Stella High Back Stool with Large Seat

The Stella High Back Stool with Large Seat is an all-steel industrial bistro stool with a tall, supportive back. Formed steel legs taper slightly as they rise, footrest rails connect them at a comfortable height, and a curved back with the familiar Stella cutout detailing sits above a lightly scooped steel seat. In a metallic finish, as shown in the photo, it has a clean, factory-floor character.

Built from steel and meant for outdoor use, it works on patios and rooftop bars as well as indoors. It comes in bar and counter heights, and an optional upholstered seat pad adds comfort for longer stays. Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded rather than bolted, tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It is meant for outdoor use as well as indoors. It ships fully assembled and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a broad palette that includes the Color Finish Series (matte or gloss solids such as black, white, charcoal, red, midnight blue, olive green and aqua, plus colors like warm gray, shadow blue, peacock and seafoam), the Metal Finish Series (matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized) and Premium Finishes (antique brass, brushed copper, dark bronze, rust patina and matte red rust). Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Upholstered seat pad (optional): an upholstered seat pad can be added for extra comfort. For commercial use, we recommend fabrics rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs; COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage. See our upholstery double rubs guide.
