Nash Upholstered Stool

The Nash Upholstered Stool is the most comfortable stool in the Nash family, with both the seat and the wide horizontal back panel upholstered. Tall, square solid wood legs and a low cross stretcher give it a crisp, Scandinavian-inspired frame, and a foot rest with a brushed stainless cover is included, with a brushed brass cover available as an option.

It brings dining-chair comfort to the bar. A green leather on walnut with a brass foot rest feels like a classic hotel or steakhouse bar, while a light fabric on oak with stainless is fresh and modern. It pairs with the Nash Upholstered Chair and is offered in bar and counter heights.

Built for commercial use

The stool is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery with very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory. The frame carries a 3-year structural warranty, and finish and upholstery are covered for 1 year from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): American walnut, American white oak, North American ash and European beech, plus black painted ash (open pore), beech with walnut stain, and ash with light or dark walnut stain.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, from classic blacks, browns and grays to rich cognacs, greens and blues, including distressed premium hides.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): standard and deluxe faux leathers in a broad palette of neutrals, browns, blues, greens and warm accent colors.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a wide range of contract fabrics and tweeds, including Fighter (130,000 double rubs) and Medley (100,000 double rubs) performance fabrics and other options rated 72,000–80,000 double rubs.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
