The Miller Stool brings the mid-century school chair silhouette up to bar and counter height. A tall powder-coated steel frame with tapered legs supports a curved wood veneer back and a molded veneer seat, and a steel stretcher and foot ring tie the legs together low on the frame, giving guests a comfortable place to rest their feet.
It has the same warm, slightly industrial character as the Miller Chair, which makes it a natural choice for taprooms, cafes and restaurant bars where you want the dining room and bar to match. A walnut veneer on a bronze or brass-toned frame feels rich and tavern-like, while light oak on a white frame reads bright and modern. It is available in both bar and counter heights.
The Miller Stool is welded steel, not bolted, for a frame that stays solid at the bar. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and it ships fully assembled from the factory. The frame carries a 3-year structural warranty, and the finish is covered for 1 year from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.
